Take Heart Australia Day 2015

On November 30th 2015, Work Health Options were proud to sponsor and participate in Take Heart Australia Day 2015, aiming to increase the survival rate for people who experience sudden cardiac arrest.

On the day, Take Heart Australia trained 2500 people in High-Quality CPR. 2000 of these were children, and included schools not only from Sydney but also from outlying suburbs.  Furthermore, 13 regional events were also held, largely around NSW but as far afield as Brisbane and South Australia.  Altogether, another 2000 people were trained at these.

Take Heart Australia Day was supported by vehicles and personnel from the Australian Resuscitation Council, St John Australia, the Australian Red Cross, the Heart Foundation, the Royal Flying Doctors Service, the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, Careflight, NSW Ambulance, NSW Fire and Rescue, NSW Police and many more organisations.
